@ Winchendon 7, Kents Hill 1 -- Winchendon, riding high after its big win at Cushing Friday night, needed only 12 seconds to get on the scoreboard -- and followed that up with three unanswered goals to take a 4-0 lead into the first intermission. It was academic after that. Junior Kaidan Sahajpal (2g, 1a),  junior Merrimack commit Ben Short (1g, 2a), and senior defenseman Anthony Pomarico (3a) each notched three points. In net, Winchendon junior Brady Knode (23/24) earned the win; Kents Hill junior Tristan Bourassa (38/44) took the loss. Winchendon (9-9-1) reached the .500 mark; Kents Hill is 8-7-2.

@ Governor's 2, St. Sebastian's 0  (OT) --  Governor's (9-6-2) got third-period goals from seniors Ian Crowley (1g, 1a) and Eli Heinze (1g) and an 18-save shutout from senior Zach Ericson. St. Sebastian's (4-8-3) sophomore Tommy Saulnier (43/45) took the hard-luck loss.

@ Pomfret 4, Milton 0 -- Pomfret scored three powerplay goals (one a 5x3) and a 29-save shutout from junior Joey Mitchell (his second straight shutout). Seniors Cole Leblanc (1g, 1a) and Luke Corrigan (1g, 1a); and junior Rich Cavanagh (1g, 1a) each notched two points for the Griffins, who won their fourth straight.
|
Rivers 5 @ BB&N 0 --  Rivers' freshmen Carter Meyer (2g) and Finn Sears (2a), and juniors Evan Handler (1g, 1a) and Justin Graf (1g, 1a) each notched two points in a penalty-filled game. Rivers junior goaltender Derrick Huang (9/9) posted a rocking chair shutout. BB&N junior James Potter (41/46) took the loss. In the third period, BB&N junior Ben Romer was tagged for a major for boarding and a game misconduct and will miss his team's next game. Rivers is 9-5-1. BB&N falls to 3-13-0.

@ Canterbury 3, Taft 3 (OT) --
Taft took a 2-0 lead in the first, Canterbury tied it in the second, and the teams swapped goals in the third with senior Preston Hidy scoring his second goal of the game at 14:50 to give the Rhinos a 2-1 lead -- only to see Canterbury's Ryan Lucarelli (1g, 1) tie the game with the extra skater on and 1:25 left on the clock.  Canterbury juniors Britton Bethard (1g, 2a)  and Tommy Browne (3a) figured in all three Saints goals. For Taft, Hidy (2g) and junior Jason Rothstein (2a), a Harvard commit, led the scorers. Both goalies -- Canterbury senior Maxim Pitts (39/42) and Taft senior Brady Morris (34/37) -- were kept on their toes. For Canterbury (7-6-4) it was their third consecutive tie game; they are 4-0-3 over their last seven. Taft (8-4-2) is undefeated in its last five games (4-0-1).

Dexter 7 @ Brooks 4 -- Brooks (5-7-2) held a 4-2 lead midway through the second, but Dexter (14-2-0) snapped to life, scoring five unanswered goals to win it going away. For Brooks, sophomore Nick Sumner (1g, 3a) figured in all four of his team's goals, and senior Brendan Peck scored twice. For Dexter, senior Sean Leetch (2g, 1a) and sophomore Noah Survilas (3a) each finished the day with three points, and junior Nick Dolympio scored twice. In net, Dexter junior Kyle Ready (18/22) picked up the win; Brooks sophomore Lachlan Fletcher (32/39) took the loss. Dexter has won six straight games. Brooks has lost four straight.

Northfield Mt. Hermon 4 @ Williston Northampton 2 --
NMH senior Filip Svodoba broke a 2-2 tie early in the third, with an assist going to senior Jagger Lucas. The Hoggers added an empty-netter for the final margin of victory. Postgrad Ryan Kukulowicz (1g, 1a) notched a couple of points. In net, NMH senior Luke Laurino (32/34) earned the win; Williston Northampton senior Zack Tremblay (20/23) suffered the loss. NMH is 5-10-1; Williston is 5-11-1.

Belmont Hill 3 @ Tabor 1 --
Belmont Hill (10-3-2) junior Patrick Woods scored the game-winner early in the second period and added an empty-netter in the game's final minute. Sophomore David Bosco (1g, 1a) was a factor too. For Tabor (9-6-1), sophomore Vinnie D'Urso (40/42) was exceptional.

Trinity-Pawling 5 @ Frederick Gunn School 2 -- Trinity-Pawling top guns -- junior Andrew Migliore (2g, 1a)
senior Liam Lefebvre (2g, 1a) -- each stayed in lockstep, reaching 30 points and sitting in a tie for the third spot in prep scoring (behind Rivers' freshman Carter Meyer and Nobles' junior Billy MacAusland). In addition, senior Sam Marchand (1g, 1a) notched his first goal of the season and added an assist. In net, T-P senior goaltender Ondrej Matousek (47/49), a native of the Czech Republic, was outstanding. He had to be: Gunn had a 49-25 edge in shots. Hey, sometimes it's like that.

St. Mark's 5 @ St. George's 2 -- In a game between two ISL Eberhart Division teams vying for Elite 8 slots, St. Mark's (12-1-2) got goals from five different scorers and a 25-save effort from senior Justin BriseBois to take round one of the rivalry. With the win, St. Mark's extends its unbeaten streak to 12 games. For the Lions, sophomore Will Cooney (1g, 1a) was the only player to finish with a multi-point day. For the Dragons, star senior d-man Everett Baldwin (1g, 1a) and junior Max Donatelli (2a) each finished with two points. In net, St. George's sophomore Tyler King kicked out 31 of 36. The two teams will meet again Wed. Feb. 26th at St. Mark's.

Tilton 4 @ Proctor 1 -- Behind a 43-save effort from junior goalie Matt Wood, and despite being outshot 44-27, Tilton (12-4-1) picked up its third straight win. Senior Noah Pineo scored twice, and junior d-man Theodore Hannon added three assists. Junior goalie Brodie Farren (24/27) took the loss for Proctor (6-13-0).

Hotchkiss 2, Exeter 1 -- After Exeter junior Jack Marquardt scored in the first, Hotchkiss (4-8-0) tied the game on junior Matthew Wallace's second-period goal and won it on senior Jack McGregor's tally two minutes into the third. In net, Bearcats senior Connor Towle (3/3) and junior Charlie Abel (33/34) teamed up for the win. Hothckiss has won three of four since starting 1-7-0.

Brewster 3 @ Hebron 0 -- In a battle between the teams ranked 55th and 56th in RPI out of 57 full-time NEPSIHA members, Brewster (2-12) scored once in each period to down Hebron (1-15-0). Senior Austin Luciani scored in the first, senior Nico Sobky in the second, and postgrad Matt Cabral in the third.

Cushing 3 @ Kimball Union 2 -- Cushing sophomore Joseph Covelluzzi potted the game-winner with just under three minutes to go, handing #4 Kimball Union its fourth loss of the season and second in the last three games. KUA scored the game's first two goals, But Cushing, outshot 35-19 for the game, pulled a rabbit from the hat and scored the last three. Senior Eric Lund and post grad Brett Cunningham (GTG) notched tallies for the Penguins (11-6-1) and junior goalie Maksim Corovic (33/35) stood tall in the win.

@ Roxbury Latin 3, Portsmouth Abbey 2 (OT) -- Roxbury Latin sophomore Thomas Mattera delivered the game-winner 2:12 into overtime, lifting the Foxes (8-6-1) to back-to-back wins for the second time this year. Earlier, with just over two minutes left in regulation, Portsmouth Abbey senior Hunter McCarthy sent the game to the extra period with his ninth goal of the year. The Abbey outshot its hosts 42-28, but RL freshman goalie Lucas Dolan (40/42) was up to the task. Ravens sophomore Easton Theberge (25/28) took the loss.

@ Salisbury 6, Kent 2 -- Salisbury blitzed Kent's Harvard-bound goalie Jacoby Weiner for four goals in the first 11 minutes of the game before Lions coach Dale Reinhardt yanked him for senior Keegan Waldo. Waldo stopped 27 of the 29 shots he saw thereafter, but it was too late. Salisbury seniors Brud Delaney (1g,2a), Connor Davis (2g) and Ryan Hedley (2a); plus post grad Jake Novak (2g) all had multi-point days. Senior goalie Steven Luciano (31/33) picked up the win. The Crimson Knights, to the surprise of just about nobody, have turned it on, winning seven of their last eight and jumping into Elite 8 positioning at 10-4-3.

St. Paul's 5 @ Vermont Academy 1 -- Big Red sophomore Dinian Kilbourne scored twice, the first of which was assisted by his older brother, junior Andersen Kilbourne, who finished the day with three helpers. Seniors Avery Ferraris and Matt Vohra; and junior Gavin Code also scored for the victors. In net, SPS junior Blake Truchon (32/33) picked up the win. VA senior Declan Ginty (35/40) was tagged for the loss.

@ Nobles 7, Andover 1 -- Nobles, backed by monster performances from junior Billy MacAusland (3g,3a) and Yale-bound senior Kyle O'Leary (2g, 3a), got an 18/19 outing from sophomore goalie Tucker Monroe and earned its fourth win in five games. Bulldogs senior Ethan Cox (1g,2a) was strong as well. Andover (9-5-3) got its lone goal from senior Peyon Militello in the first. The Big Blue, which started 7-1-2, is now 9-5-3 and has won just two of seven games in 2025.

Deerfield 4 @ Choate 2 -- Big Green junior Matteo Alvarez, a Colgate commit, scored twice, including the tally in the waning moments of the second period that put Deerfield ahead for good. Alvarez finished the day with three points as did senior teammate Lance Roberts (1g,2a). Deerfield (10-4-0) has won four of five, and is squarely in the Elite 8 picture with 11 games to play.

@ Pingree 5, Mt. St. Charles 1 -- Pingree senior Marco Mottola scored twice; and classmates Nick Moulison and Kellan Danaher added three helpers apiece. In goal, junior Von Larsen stopped 22 of the Mount's 23 shots en route to the win. Pingree is 8-8-1.
