@ St. Mark's 8, Middlesex 0 -- Freshman Evan Nee (2g,1a); and sophomores Drew Carr (1g,2a) and Richard Gallant (1g,2a) each notched three points, and senior G Charles Watson posted a 25-save shutout as #8 St. Mark's (12-3-0) rolled.
Proctor 2 @ Vermont Academy 2 (OT) -- In a back-and-forth game, the visitors from Proctor struck last, as senior Nick Marrocco's goal midway through the third period lifted the Hornets to the tie. However, the story here was the goaltenders, Proctor junior Caden Pasqualone (39/41) and VA junior Owen Willgos (42/44).
Tilton 4 @ New Hampton 3 -- Tilton held a 3-1 lead after the first period, but almost let it get away as the Huskies drew within one on a Cam Caron PPG late in the third. Tilton junior G Sawyer Russell (32/35) earned the win.
@ NMH 3, Cushing 3 -- The #1 Penguins built a 3-1 lead through two, but the Hoggers came back to tie it on third-period goals from James Hooley and Alex Ondos. Cushing senior Cooper Rautenstrauch (34/37) and NMH junior Tommy Adams (31/34) kept things close.
Salisbury 2 @ Frederick Gunn 1 (OT) -- Salisbury senior defenseman Quinn McCall's OT goal 2:15 into the extra frame hoisted the visitors to the win. Earlier, in the second, Salisbury had taken the lead on senior Hayden Hanes's goal before Gunn tied the game with senior Paul Tollet's score less than two minutes later. Gunn senior goalie Ryan Crowshaw (32/34) took the hard-luck loss; Crimson Knights junior Cooper Flemming (33/34) picked up the win.
Dexter 2 @ St. George's 0 -- No tie today! Dexter junior Cullen Emery scored twice and senior goalie Max Gatti saved all 15 shots he faced as Dexter blanked St. George's to hand the Dragons their fourth straight loss. St. George's junior G Ryder Shea (35/37) took the loss. Dexter, remarkably, is unbeaten over its last seven games, but has won only twice in that span. All those ties...
@ Kent 4, Taft 3 -- #9 Taft scored twice in the third to cut Kent's 4-1 lead to one, but Kent junior G Aidan Hopewell (20/23) kept the visitors off the board in the game's waning minutes to extend the Lions' unbeaten streak to three games. Juniors Owen Mahar and Gio DiGiulian paced the victors with a goal and a helper each (DiGiulian, by the way, committed to Cornell Tuesday). Taft junior goalie Rudy Guimond (26/30) took the loss.
Thayer 4 @ Tabor 0 -- Thayer won its second game in a week against a top-5 foe, blanking the fourth-ranked Seawolves seven days after handing #1 Cushing its first loss. Senior Beau Lane (1.77/.947) pitched a 33-save shutout. Junior Josh Halliday (1g,2a) and senior Shane Taddia (1g,1a) led the way for the winners. Senior G Gus Ackerman was 28/32 in net for Tabor. The Seawolves are 1-2-2 over their last five.
Kents Hill 5 @ North Yarmouth Academy 3 -- Kents Hill built a 3-0 lead after two and held on to win its sixth game of the year and earn a split of the season series with NYA. Junior Declan Stewart scored twice for the Huskies. Senior Cooper St. Hilaire (1g,1a) and junior Ethan Brochu (2a) led the way for NYA. In net, PG Ryan Rosenau (40/43) was the winner; NYA senior Aidan Farion (29/34) took the loss. NYA's undefeated streak (8-0-2) was halted at 10 games.
@ Belmont Hill 9, Brooks 0 -- Three Hillies -- seniors Henry Schmidek and Daniel Markham and junior Lenny Greenberg -- scored twice as Bel Hill pumped Brooks. Freshman JJ Thibodeau (9/9) and junior Ben Hack (3/3) teamed up to save every shot they faced. #7 Belmont Hill (9-4-3) outshot Brooks, 42-12, and has won four of five. Brooks, at 6-7-1, falls back below .500 for the first time in two weeks.
@ Kimball Union 4, Exeter 1 -- Senior goalie Dan Heroux stopped 22 of 23 shots to help #6 KUA extend its winning streak to seven, and its unbeaten streak to nine. Four different Wildcat skaters scored in the win. For Exeter (8-8-1), junior Christian Maro scored the only goal and senior Michael Salvatore went 30/34 in net.
Holderness 6 @ Brewster 5 (OT) -- A wild one here! Host Brewster held a 5-3 lead late in the third, but Holderness junior F Jake Boulanger scored a pair of empty-netters 32 seconds apart to send the game to OT, where junior F Caden Wells's goal finished off the improbable win. Holderness has won four of five and improves to 11-4-0.
