-- Taft Comes From Behind, Stuns Avon

Taft 6 @ Avon 2 – Host Avon held a 3-2 lead with less than four minutes remaining in the second period, but Taft scored a late goal and then added three unanswered goals in the third en route to an upset win on the road. Matt Foos (2g,1a) figured in the first three Taft goals, and Tommy Grant, Cole Maier, and Henry Pierandri each added one in the third. Ryan Coon (28/31) earned the win; Tucker Weppner (21/27) took the loss.

@ Tilton 2, New Hampton 0 – Tilton senior Matt Faye faced 15 shots – and stopped every one.

Kent 4 @ Brunswick 2 – Four straight goals in the third allowed Kent to come from behind for the win.

@ KUA 4, Proctor 1 – KUA got goals from four different scorers and outshot Proctor, 44-24.

@ St. Paul’s 6, St. Mark’s 0 -- Charles Alexandre-Plaisir (2g,3a) had a five-point day. Michael Pinios kicked out 25 shots.

St. Thomas More 6 @ Portsmouth Abbey 3 -- Frank Moreschi and Alex Burgess each had a pair of goals.

@ Gunnery 4, Berkshire 1 – Anthony Bird had a SHG and 2 assists. Dawson Sprigings kicked out 25 of 26 shots.

@ Cushing 13, Williston 3 – Cushing scored six goals – by six different scorers – in the first nine minutes of play.

Milton 6 @ Thayer 0 -- Clay Berger (2g), Jacob Farabee (1g,1a), and Alex Mann (2a) each had two points for Milton. Drew Hotte (2 periods) and Andreas Graham (1 period) combined on the 29-save shutout.

@ Millbrook 3, Portledge 2 (OT) – A Ryan Harper OT goal was the difference in the one.

Hill 3 @ L’ville 1 – Omeed Alidadi stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced to earn the win for the visitors.

Belmont Hill 6 @ Governor’s 3 – Bell Hill used a balanced attack, getting goals from six different scorers today.

Middlesex 2 @ Brooks 2 – Eric Shaw had both Middlesex goals. Cam Patch (1g,1a) and Mitch Nylen (1g,1a) teamed up for both Brooks goals.

Exeter 3 @ Winchendon 0 – John Cross (3a) figured in all three Exeter goals. Jack Parsons (2 periods) and Michael Lackey (1 period) combined on the 23-save shutout.

Groton 5 @ Roxbury Latin 0 – Patrick Harvey scored two goals and Will Richardson (15 saves) picked up the shutout.

@ Choate 4, Westminster 3 – Max Daigle had a pair of goals for Choate, both in the second period, and Andrew Tucci stopped 37 shots for the win. Westminster outshot Choate 40-33.

Nobles 4 @ Tabor 4 -- A JC Brassard goal with 1:12 remaining in regulation lifted Nobles to a 4-4 tie. Joe Slovak scored a pair for Tabor.

@ Loomis 5, Pomfret 1 – Defenseman Matt O’Donnell scored a pair of goals and Danny Tirone (21/22) earned the win.

@ Worcester Academy 4, Vermont 3 – Joe Caico had a pair of goals for the Hilltoppers.

@ St. Sebastian’s 4, BB&N 2 – St. Seb’s got goals from four different scorers. Tedy Loughborough stopped 21 of 23 shots to pick up the win.

@ Deerfield 6, NMH 3 – Alex Gonye (2g,1a) and Trevor Yates (1g,2a) led the Big Green attack.

Christian Brothers Academy 3, Delbarton 3 – John Baiocco (2g,1a) figured in all three Delbarton goals.

@ Hotchkiss 4, Salisbury 3 --  Wiley Sherman and Ryan Doppelhueur each had two goals as the Bearcats came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat their neighbors from down the road. This was Hotchkiss' first win under new head coach Mike Traggio.

Michelle Holmes had three goals for Proctor -- including the game-winner in OT -- and was named Div. II Tournament MVP. Brea Davis and Nikki Gorman also had goals for Proctor.
