@ KUA 7, NMH 1: Kimball Union used five second period goals to coast by Northfield-Mt. Hermon. Junior forwards Nick Roberto (3g, 1a) and Niko Rufo (1g, 3a) had four points apiece for the home side.
Governor’s 4 @ Exeter 4: Governor’s and Exeter battled to a 4-4 tie at Exeter. Shots were 39-24 in favor of Exeter but the hosts needed a goal from freshman Stanley Brenner with 2:38 remaining to pick up a point.
@ Canterbury 5, Williston-Northampton 3: Junior Jeff Celniker was a one-man show for Canterbury as the Saints beat Williston 5-3. Celniker had a hat-trick – including the game-tying and game-winning goals in the third – and assisted on another goal. Junior goalie Tim Keegan kept Williston in the game with 42 saves.
At Amherst College -- Cushing 6, Berkshire 4: Senior goalie Chad Hardy made 39 saves and Cushing got a 6-4 victory over Berkshire despite being outshot 43-33. Both sides used balanced attacks as 10 different players lit the lamp in this one.
Choate 10 @ Kingswood-Oxford 1: Choate went on the road and blasted Kingswood-Oxford 10-1. Senior forward Bill Seligman paced the Wild Boars’ offense with a goal and three assists. Shots were 71-8 in favor of Choate.
@ Albany Academy 5, Portledge 2: Albany Academy got goals from five different scorers to knock off Portledge 5-2.
Groton 6 @ Pingree 2: Junior goaltender Jordan Piccolino stopped 45 of 47 shots to lead Groton to a road win at Pingree. Senior defenseman Luke Turchetta and junior forward Patrick Harvey each had a goal and two assists for the visitors.
Dexter 4 @ St. Mark’s 3: Dexter overcame a 3-0 first period deficit to beat St. Mark’s for the second time in a week. Freshman Ryan Donato got the OT winner, and junior forward Trevor Fidler had a goal and two assists for Dexter.
At Fenway Park -- Nobles 6, Milton 2: Nobles kept the momentum going after winning the Flood-Marr by knocking off Milton at Fenway Park. Senior forwards Andrew Doane (2g, 1a) and Max Franklin (1g, 1a) led the way for the Bulldogs offensively, while juniors Chris Calnan and Adam Gilmour and senior defenseman Tim Boyle chipped in one apiece.
Westminster 5 @ Kent 2: Westminster jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first and never looked back in a 5-2 victory at Kent. Westminster goalie Patrick Spano made 39 saves to help neutralize a 41-26 shot advantage for the home side. Senior forward Nick Finn had two goals and an assist to lead the charge for Westminster offensively.
At Fenway Park -- Lawrence Academy 6. Thayer 0: Lawrence senior goaltender Nathan Heilbron (20 saves) pitched a shutout in game #2 at Fenway as Lawrence coasted past Thayer 6-0. Seniors Devin Tringale (2g, 1a) and Tyler Whitney (3a), and junior George Hunkele (1g, 2a) paced the Lawrence offense.
Harvey 9 @ Rye Country Day 4: Harvey got nine goals on only 28 shots to beat Rye Country Day on the road by a score of 9-4. Harvey senior forwards Richard Schulman and Timothy Ehlberg had two goals and two assists apiece.
@ Hotchkiss 2 Delbarton 0: Senior goaltender Daniel Viger posted a 39-save shutout and Swedish PG forward Victor Lindstrom (2g) supplied the offense as Hotchkiss stole one from Delbarton. The visitors from New Jersey outshot Hotchkiss 39-17 but couldn’t solve Viger, and fall to 7-1 on the season.
At Fenway Park – Belmont Hill 3, St. Sebastian’s 1: Juniors Mike Leary and Mike Najjar scored for Belmont Hill -- and Najjar added an empty-netter -- in the nightcap at Fenway. Sophomore Corey Ronan scored for St. Seb's.
